Last night we kicked off the Christmas season by lighting a fire and watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. This morning we pulled out all of our Christmas decorations, put up the tree and decked the house out!
Last year (in our apartment) we got some new furniture so our big tree didn't fit anymore and we bought a smaller three foot tree. This year we have room again for the big tree and I was SO excited to put it up! I love the way it looks in our living room with the mantle decorated and our stockings hanging. We made good use of our little tree, too...we put it in the bedroom! Our room is huge and we have one corner that's pretty empty and the tree fit just right. I LOVE having it there.
I'll post some pictures as soon as we put the finishing touches on everything. The only thing we're not really sure how to tackle this year is hanging lights on the house- Jeff is working on that one!
