Yesterday was mom's 60th birthday! We celebrated by having mother daughter day at Disneyland. When we first arrived it was SO crowded and we were a little worried, but they day turned out beautifully.
We stood in the ticket lines and mom got her free birthday ticket. It's really cute and even says "Happy Birthday" on it. What a great memory! When we got into the park we of course ate lunch first- we always seem to do that! After lunch, we stopped into the hat store in Tomorrowland to get mom birthday Mickey ears. They even embroidered the back with "My 60th Cathy." It was the perfect souvenir to mark the occasion! Then it was time to hit the rides.
We went on Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Mark Twain, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and took a grand circle tour on the Steam Trains. We ended the day by watching "The First 50 Magical Years" at the Main Street Opera House and mom got to relive her memories of going to Disneyland in 1955. We also did a little people watching and shopping, naturally.
All in all, it was a great day!
