I am now 10 weeks and still feeling pretty sick. Everyone says it goes away in the second trimester so I am counting down the days...two more weeks and we are out of the first tri! Still not having any cravings yet, but I'm sure they will come!
Our baby is about the size of a plum and is swallowing fluid and kicking (although I won't be able to feel it for several more weeks). Baby's vital organs are all in place and are beginning to function. This week marks the end of the embryonic period and our baby has completed the most critical part of development. From now on the baby will basically double in size and weight and continue to grow.
The most exciting news this week is that today I have kept everything I have eaten down!! This is the first time in four days that I have kept my food down. Hopefully this is the turning point!
We have our next OB appointment on July 10th at 11 weeks and 4 days. I am hoping we will be able to hear the heartbeat!
