Words and Utensils

Jack has a total of 7 words now:

Ball
Luna (his first word)
Mama
Dada
Banana
Bye Bye
Ma ma- this is Grandma but it doesn't sound the same as mama (mommy)

There are a few other words that he'll repeat after you (well, a mangled version anyway...) but because he doesn't use them in context or appropriately, they don't count as words.

As of late, Jack has decided that he no longer wishes to eat with his hands like a cave man. He wants to use forks and spoons...except that he doesn't quite know how. He knows you're supposed to pick the food up with the utensil, and bless his little heart, he sure tries! But he doesn't quite get it- so for now he just practices attempting to load it with his free hand and pushing it around in the bowl. So for now he hands the spoon or fork to us to load, then we hand it back, he eats and hands it back to us to load. It's very cute actually- and a loooong meal process!
