On Thursday we headed down to Carlsbad for the night so we could take Jack to Legoland and the Sea Life Aquarium. He had an absolute blast! There weren't many rides he could go on but just seeing the cities built of out of legos and playing on the different playgrounds was enough for the dude. On Friday morning we intended to go to the Flower Fields but when we drove by all we saw was a hill of dirt- the flowers aren't in bloom yet. So we'll save that for another day- and not seeing them left more time to spend with our friends the Gonzales's who live in san diego and drove up to have lunch with us.
