A year in Review

Hello 2012! 2011 was fabulous for us so I am hopeful that 2012 has some more awesome in store.

January:

We celebrated our sweet boy's first birthday!

February:

We celebrated Jeff's 35th birthday. Jack and I surprised him with a trip to Travel Town, we took our good friends out for pizza and beer, and had lunch with our parents at one of our favorite restaurants. Jack got him a Darth Vader spatula.

March:

We went to Legoland and had a blast!

April:

Jack and I did the Ronald McDonald House 5K to help raise money for this awesome charity. We ran/walked (lol) in honor of my friend Amy's son Mason.

May:

We visited KidSpace museum in Pasadena which has quickly become a favorite destination. Also, I started taking medication to help control my rheumatoid arthritis- a weekly injection of a medication called Enbrel.

June:

Jack and I did Mommy and Me swim lessons and we took him to his first bar (heh) Trader Sam's at the Disneyland Hotel.

July:

We reigned in our Starbucks habit by purchasing a Keurig, reusable Starbucks cups and Starbucks classic syrup. We also visited the Huntington Library- also a new favorite destination!

August:

We celebrated my 31st birthday, and took Jack to an amazing splash pad in Corona.

September:

We took a trip to Solvang with Jeff's extended family, took Jack to the L.A. Fair for the first time and celebrated my dad's 70th birthday

October:

Jack had his first real trick or treat experience, and his first plane ride. Unfortunately the plane ride was a trip back to NJ to say good-bye to Uncle Bob.

November:

We celebrated our 5th anniversary with a day trip to the Americana At Brand for lunch, cupcakes at Crumbs and coffee from Starbucks. We also took Jack to see Yo Gabba Gabba! Live. It.Was.Awesome. I"m not sure who had more fun, Jack or us!

December:

Jack attended his 2nd annual Family Holiday Party at Disneyland and made it all the way through. As you can see he was practically asleep on the way out, but he didn't actually fall asleep until we had exited ;) We also helped him leave cookies and milk for Santa for the first time. He was also less than thrilled with Santa this year =)

Hope you enjoyed looking back on our year!
