Going Bowl-ing

Last night Jeff and I went to the Hollywood Bowl with our dear friends to see Pixar in Concert.  We left Jack in the trusted hands of my niece and headed off for a night of fun. We decided to do the "park and ride" on our friends recommendation. We drove to the Arcadia golf course and boarded buses that took us right to the Bowl. It was so much better than trying to drive ourselves and park at the Bowl. And for only $6 per person, you really can't beat it!

We met up for a pre-show picnic and had a blast- boxed wine and all! Alisa even made me some cake pops to celebrate my upcoming birthday. The show itself was A-MAZING. Seriously. I knew it was going to be good because it was a celebration of Pixar music, but it exceeded my expectations. They showed clips from the movies while the orchestra played. You really don't get a good feel for how great the music is until you're hearing it apart from the movie.  I had also forgotten just how fun the Bowl experience can be. Looking forward to seeing more shows!
