We started a small garden and it's finally starting to poke through the soil! We planted carrots, green onions, lettuce and basil. I can't wait until we can make a meal using fresh home-grown ingredients!
I also wanted to share our new bougainvillea tree. We fell in love with a gorgeous bougainvillea in the courtyard of an old church on our honeymoon and I've wanted one ever since. I love that we now have a reminder of our honeymoon and every time we look at it we can remember that special time.
And just for good measure, I threw in a picture of some flowers Jeff brought home for me one day. They are gorgeous!
