This morning I took my glucose tolerance test. It's given to all pregnant women to test for gestational diabetes. I had to drink a very thick liquid called glucola. It was lemon-lime flavor and actually didn't taste as bad as I was expecting. I had five minutes to drink the bottle (10 oz.) and even though I had a bit of trouble with the last few sips, all in all it went down okay. Then I had to sit there for an hour and when the hour was up, they took my blood.
My next doctor's appointment is November 10th so we should know the results then.

I've never had week old Sprite, but that's what I imagine it tasting like.
