I've been thinking lately that I'm not just me anymore...I'm Mom. Even though Jack isn't here yet, everything I do, every decision I make takes him into account. Is this okay for Jack? Will this hurt Jack? I am already concerned about doing the right things for my son- and I'm not just talking about taking care of his health in utero. I mean getting life insurance in order, making sure we're financially stable, etc. It's not just us anymore...we're a family now.
I read this quote online today and I think it beautifully describes the love a mother has for her child.
"No one will ever understand the strength of my love for you. After all, you are the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside. "
I never knew I could love someone I don't even know yet so much. We can't wait to meet you Baby Jack!
