Last night we took Jack to his first Disney Family Holiday party. For those that know Jeff and I well, you know how special this party is to us. This year for the first time there was an early entry "mix in" option so we could enter before the park closed and then stay for the party. This worked REALLY well for us. Typically the party starts at 8pm but we went in around 6. We were able to get our family photo taken and ride It's a Small World Holiday before Jack got too tired.
After Small World and a quick stop at the Baby Center for Jack to make a wardrobe change (into fleece snowman jammies), we met up with our friends the Corbetts. We rode the Finding Nemo submarines and Jack loved it. He kept trying to crawl into the porthole to get a better look, and was trying to touch the bubbles. He also kept leaning into Jeff and Alisa's windows to see if their view was different than his. It was adorable.
Right after we got off he fell asleep so we parted ways with the Corbetts so they could enjoy the party and we could take our tired boy home. On the way out we did some shopping and grabbed a drink and treat at the bakery, which we enjoyed as we sat and people watched.
It was the perfect first Family Holiday party with my little family =)
