Mother's Day

I had the absolute best Mother's Day! Jeff totally made up for barely acknowledging my first MD last year =)

Saturday night we went out to dinner with my parents and Jeff's mom so that we could give our moms their gifts and spend time celebrating them. We went to the Elephant Bar and had a blast.

The next morning, I woke up to breakfast in bed. I had eggs Benedict, coffee and a stack of magazines to read. Jeff took Jack to the park so I could have some alone time and enjoy my breakfast without a certain someone banging on the bedroom door yelling, "mama!"
After they got home, we all took Luna for a walk and then hopped in the car to get an iced coffee at Starbucks (a favorite indulgence of ours. So simple to make at home, but for only $2.50 a piece, so nice to enjoy someone else making it!) and we set out on a drive....and went to the Grove/Farmer's Market in L.A. It's one of our favorite places and we had a blast walking around, having ice cream and watching the fountain.

I am so blessed to be the mommy of a handsome, mischievous, spunky little boy. And even more blessed to be parenting him with the absolute perfect husband.
