Water fun!

Summer is coming and I have been looking for things to buy so that Jack can stay cool and entertained in the heat. I really wish our parks had shade covers, but they don't so I need to come up with some fun alternatives. I bought him a water table and Jeff had it set up when we got home from Stroller Strides this morning. Huge, huge, huge hit! The kid was soaked in about 5 minutes. I literally had to drag him in for lunch and after his nap he went right to the screen door and begged to be let outside. I had planned for this to be a swim suit toy but we let him have at it as soon as we walked in the door and there was no dragging him away.

The other thing I got him is an art easel. It has a chalkboard on one side, a dry erase board on the other side and a roll of paper you can hang for painting. So far he loves it, but I need to get better paints than the ones I had at home.
