Today we took the Metrolink into Los Angeles and enjoyed a day playing tourist. We had lunch at Olvera Street and then walked over to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, the Music Center and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. We got quite a bit of exercise! We ended the day with a drink at Traxx inside Union Station.
The Cathedral is absolutely beautiful and they had a cute little garden area where we had fun with the camera. We weren't able to go inside the sanctuary but were happy just to explore the grounds.
I'd never been to the Walt Disney Concert Hall before so we checked out the gift shop where the sales clerk told us to go outside and up the stairs to check out the garden. It's beautiful and has a great view of L.A.! I highly recommend checking it out.
After we left the concert hall we attempted to walk to Angels Flight but it was starting to get dark and it seemed a little too far for our feet to take us. So we headed back to Union Station where we ended our day with a martini at Traxx, a bar inside of Union Station. We even ran into one of Jeff's cast members and his wife!
