Last night we treated ourselves to a new DVD and bought Juno. We'd wanted to see it in the theater but of course we never made it. We were really surprised at how good the movie was. We had heard all the good reviews, and given its performance at the Oscars, we knew it would be good but not this good.
Not only is it laugh out loud funny, but you easily fall in love with Juno and her friend Bleeker- the baby's dad. The relationships between the characters are so real you can feel the tension between Juno and the adoptive father. There are a couple of plot twists that you don't expect which is nice- I hate predictable movies! The soundtrack is a bit odd but surprisingly it is just endearing enough to lend a realistic feel to the movie.
I highly highly recommend checking it out!
